Says he didn't recommend striker to West Brom Cardiff City signing Peter Odemwingie denies urging Victor Anichebe to sign with West Bromwich Albion.

It was claimed last week that Odemwingie had recommended the Baggies to his Nigeria teammate.

But the former West Brom forward denied that claim through a post on his twitter handle that.

"Just to be clear I never adviced V. Anichebe on the move to WBA", Odemwingie posted on his twitter handle @OdemwingieP.

He further posted that :"In different circumstances it was a good thing to say but not all the way to a family club. I think it will be obvious when it will be so."

"The headline just didn't make sense. The journalist making me to look too good which I don't need or making me look too strange. #letsbereal"

Odemwingie left West Brom this summer after enduring a difficult end to his Baggies career whih saw him attempt to force through a move to QPR last season.
Well the fact is Anichebe is now in West Brom and Osaze is in Cardiff City. Let them both move on with their football careers!
