In line with his passion to reward excellent performance and increase productivity, Ogun State Governor Senator Ibikunle Amosun, has approved the promotion of 3,272 teaching and non teaching staff of the public secondary schools in the state.These were those who were successful in the 2012 promotion exercise conducted by the Ogun State teaching service Commission (TESCOM). Announcing the approval, chairman of the state Teaching Service Commission Ms Olubukunola Onabanjo in a statement said out of the 3,272 promoted, 743 were on grade level 12 – 17, 1,604 on grade levels 07 – 10 while other remaining 926 were on the junior cadre. The Chairman charged the staff to reciprocate the gesture by putting in more effort in the mission to re-build the education sector, noting that government will continually provide the enabling environment to rejuvenate the sector for optimal performance in the state.
