Liverpool legend, Jamie Carragher has questioned the quality of Victor Moses following the Nigerian winger's loan switch from Chelsea on transfer deadline day.

Carragher is also unconvinced by the Reds' title credentials this season despite their blistering start to the Barclays English Premier League.

The Anfield club have amassed maximum points from their first three league games this season and have yet to concede in the Barclays English Premier League following wins over Stoke City Aston Villa and champions, Manchester United.

Nigerian international, Moses was one of three players that joined Liverpool on transfer deadline day (Mamadou Sahko and Tiago Ilori being the others) as manager, Brendan Rodgers looked to bolster the squad but Carragher, who racked up 508 league appearances for the Anfield club, is not convinced by the credentials of the trio.

"Yes Liverpool has brought in three players in the summer but you have to compare their quality with the players brought in by other teams. For instance, Arsenal have brought in (Mesut) Ozil. You cannot say any of those three players Liverpool brought in are of the same quality (as Ozil)," Carragher told SkySports.

Moses will be eager to prove Carragher wrong. The Nigerian is in line for his debut when Liverpool travel to the Liberty Stadium to face Swansea City on Monday night.
