Position:                                                                                                                                

A Client Service Manager is expected to be an expert consultant on the clients' business with responsibility for working with client senior management and leadership teams; providing guidance on complex business problems via ongoing market perspective and insight on consumer and shopper behaviour. You will have a commercial mindset and be able to consult and provide clear direction on how the client should action and integrate insights for maximum return on investment and growth. You will be excited by the possibilities and the potential to become a thought leader, leveraging Nielsen's best in class global techniques, to find and create new ways to answer the challenging business questions that your clients will have. You will be required to proactively identify revenue growth opportunities and coordinate business development efforts within existing client groups.

Your clients will be some of the best known consumer businesses in Nigeria and the world. They will look to you as Nielsen's key representative to assist in developing their strategies and understanding their performance.

Desired Skills and Experience

To be successful, you will need:

•   A degree in marketing or business with ideally 4 years in a similar role.

•   To be passionate about trying to understand the "why" and you will have worked collaboratively across different management levels and cultures focused on a common goal.

•   To have strong analytical and numerical skills and will have a unique ability to clearly explain analytical techniques to non-expert audiences, as well as strong business acumen.

•   Additionally, to have a passion for building relationships and will be comfortable being an essential thought partner to your clients, driving actionable recommendations that are aligned to client business issues.
