Our client, a research based international pharmaceutical company in the business of manufacturing and distributing quality healthcare products, seeks the services of an experienced professional for the position of:
You will be expected to assume the responsibility of building a positive working relationship with new and existing clients as well as exploring new business opportunities.
You will also be expected to:
• create and implement effective management strategies and lead nationwide medical representatives, field sales managers and other sales personnel towards the achievement of sales objectives
• lead the team through effective communication by training and developing sales staff while monitoring sales results in comparison with goals set
• liaise with hospitals, institutes, pharmacies and international agencies as regards business and clinical meetings
• provide monthly sales budget, compensation programs and incentive planning
• proactively identify the problems occurring in current distribution channels and take effective measures to control the credit allocated, and accordingly modify/develop strategies
• prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecast
• meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts
• be involved in corporate and strategic accounts management
• provide quarterly procurement plans to Product Managers
• collect and analyze market data to facilitate the creation and adjustment of sales strategies
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Degree qualified in Pharmacy or a related discipline (possession of an MBA or relevant post graduate business qualification will be an advantage)
• Minimum of 15 years cognate experience in the Nigerian pharmaceutical/healthcare industry, at least five of which, must have been in an executive management role in a reputable pharmaceutical company
• Demonstrable evidence of success in meetings and exceeding revenue targets
• Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and client handling skills; ability to develop and maintain contacts at the highest level
