Job Title: Principal Investment (Senior Analyst)

Responsibilities:
• Participate in the formulation and implementation of the optimization strategy for 2-3 existing portfolio companies
• Participate in the formulation and execution of the investment strategy for 2-3 new investment opportunities
• Serve as primary custodian of all projects & portfolio companies under his/her control, managing all internal/external resources engaged on such projects
• Supervise and guide the development of 1 to 2 analysts working within the division or on divisional projects
• Work closely with and report directly to senior associates, VPs, divisional head and the executive management team of the company on assigned projects and other strategic issues as may be required
• Work may require some amount of travel, mostly domestic travel to various company/project sites across Nigeria with some mix of international travel
Required Qualification and Experience:
• Minimum Second Class Upper Degree from a top tier university
• 2-3 years experience in a Management Consulting, Investment Banking or General Management/Strategy role requiring strong financial modelling, analytical reasoning and presentation skills required.
• Experience in emerging markets, particularly Nigeria is a plus
• The individual must be interested in making a transition towards private equity or principal investing.
