Job Title: Fleet Supervisor

Job Description:
The Fleet Supervisor ensures the smooth running of the garage and all the mission's vehicles and motorised engines:
• Travel management and vehicle / generator follow-up
• Ensuring all the mission's vehicles and motorized engines are in correct working order (, in coordination with the Deputy/assistant Logistic Coordinator, the field logisticians and his team
• Providing technical support to logisticians, store keeper and drivers
• Ensuring the smooth running of the garage under his responsibility, organising planning and activities.
• In collaboration with the store keeper supervising the stock of spare parts in the capital, the field and the stock of tools and equipment in the workshop,
• Providing a technical advice for the meca orders.
• Ensuring the technical training for mechanics, maintenance officer and drivers
Required Skills and Conditions:
• Qualified mechanic with good experience in diesel engine
• Minimum of 3 years experience in similar position from a recognised workshop
• Experience in management.
• Strong work ethic, commitment to humanitarian objectives and interest in health care;
• High motivation, flexibility, quick learning and team spirit
• Previous experience working for NGOs is an advantage, within multi-national team members
• Computer skills and good faculty to learn new software will be an asset
• MSF experience and knowledge of its standards are an asset
Work Location: Abuja (Nigeria) with mandatory field visits where our medical activities are taking place, mostly in the Northern States.
Contract: Open-ended contract including a 3-month probation period renewable if necessary.
