Pastor Olalekan Abidakun and Pastor Mrs. Mercy Abidakun no doubt share some traits in common, apart from being husband and wife. Primarily, this couple has this milk of human kindness running in their veins.
This singular characteristic has endeared them to friends, relations and other well-wishers, who have described them as 'lavishly generous.' Both of them are also pastors in the Redeemed Christian Church God (RCCG).
This also couple share close birthdays; as the husband was born on June 25, the wife was born on June, 26, both in 1963. Well-wishers, as such, joined them in celebrating their Golden Jubilee birthday recently.
This colourful event, took place at the Mercy Land Area Headquarters of the RCCG, Magboro, Ogun State and several encomiums were showered on the celebrating couple.
Pastor Kayode Adeyanju, the officiating priest, in his sermon, described the couple as a pillar and vessel of honour in the house of God.
Their church brethren took their turn in praising on this 'gold-hearted couple,' who have touched the lives of many.
All of them were unanimous in singing that surely, they are jolly good fellows.
