Senior Reservoir Engineer – Permanent – Nigeria We are seeking a Nigerian professional for the role of a Senior Reservoir Engineer with an up and coming operator in Nigeria. Off the back of recent successes, they are looking to further expand their subsurface team and one of their priorities is to look for a Principal/ Senior Reservoir Engineer. Your primary role will be to add value through reservoir engineering interface with a wide range of stakeholders tasked with the aim of planning field development, establishing and developing strategies to improve field production and recovery of O&G from assets in the Niger Delta area. Your remit will include supporting exploration, new ventures and existing producing fields. As such we are looking for things like:
- Analytical Performance Prediction
- Reservoir Simulation
- Fluid Sampling & Analysis
- Reservoir Management & Surveillance
- Production Forecasting
- Petrophysics
- Asset Development & Depletion Plan
- Coring & Core Analysis (Routine & SCAL)
- Economic Analysis
- Reserves Assessment
- Well Testing
Requirements:
- Degree educated in Petroleum Engineering; MSc or PhD preferred
- Minimum 10 years practical experience in upstream O&G industry
- Experience of working for an IOC preferable
- Strong hands on reservoir engineering skills
- Broad subsurface knowledge and experience
- Preference for a national but willing to consider an expat with Nigerian experience
- Good communicator and understanding for cultural sensitivity
