Hull City manager, Steve Bruce has predicted a bright future for his Nigerian charge, Omatsone Aluko who has made a blistering start to life in the Barclays English Premier League this season.

Aluko has started all five games played by the Tigers this term and capped off a brilliant week with a super strike that gave Hull City a 3-2 win over Newcastle United at St James' Park on Saturday.

Bruce has now spoken about the impact the 24-year- old has made so far this season.

"I knew him from his days as a very young man and I never doubted his quality. He will make a very big impact this season. We only pray that he does not get injured," Bruce said.

Aluko has also been reflecting on his stunning goal against the Magpies. The striker praised his teammate who provided the assist and stated that he only had to apply the finish.
l watched Aluko's game against Newcastle United, he played well, and the goal he scored was splendid.
