PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES: Implementation of SAP and custom developed mobile application related projects
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS:
• Implementation of SAP and custom developed mobile a. pplication related project
• Provide technical expertise on SAP's Mobile Platform and related technologies to the SAP Field Services and Sales teams where necessary.
• Contribute to and participate in knowledge management and sharing amongst the SAP Mobile teams to promote greater knowledge awareness.
• Assume key role in the technical design, customization, implementation, integration, testing, and upgrading of SAP mobile applications and infrastructure.
• Maintain a high level of mobile technical expertise across all SAP Mobile technologies, mobile device types and mobile operating systems.
• Obtain relevant mobile related SAP certifications.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
• SAP NetWeaver / SAP NetWeaver Gateway / mobile technical application integration / development experience with at least 4+ years in the IT industry.
• Understanding of enterprise mobility solutions, ideally with mobility development experience on devices.
• Understanding of Mobile application development options, as well as mobile middleware (MEAP and MCAP) and security solutions (MDM)
• Mobile app development experience and expertise for devices such as Blackberries, iPhones/iPads, Androids and Windows Mobile / Phone using languages such as C, C++, Objective C, C#, HTML5, ASP .NET, Java, jQuery and J2ME.
• Prior SAP mobile app expertise and experience using one of the SAP Mobile Platform components (Sybase Unwired Platform (SUP), mCommerce or Syclo Agentry).
• Other technologies, devices, and skills that would be helpful to have experience with or knowledge of include: JavaScript, XML, HTML5, AJAX, CSS, Adobe Fireworks, Adobe Photoshop, Mac OS, Windows Mobile, Pocket PC, Symbian, Data synchronization, Messaging, Device management, Networking, and Security.
• Conceptual analytical thinking and decision making skills
• Strong interpersonal skills; the ability to work well with people from different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience; competence in clear concise and tactful communication with senior management, clients, peers and team members.
WORK EXPERIENCE
• Required university degree, preferably in information technologies or equivalent training and job experience
• Enterprise Architecture certification and /or other industry certifications an asset
• Exposure to ASAP Methodology Proficiency
• 4 Year of Mobility experience OR
• 3 to 6 years of SAP NetWeaver / mobile/ BI development/ Portal application development experience in project implementations
