VALUE ADDED SERVICES (VAS) – SERVPOINT
ServPoint is a product for convenient payment systems and Value Added Services to major consumer service organizations in the utility, housing, water, telecoms, media, financial services, transport, retail, ecommerce, gaming and public sector. ServPoint can benefit the billers, retailers, agents, as well as the end users. ServPoint leverages the Globasure Electronic Voucher Distribution System (GEVDS) – a secure end-to-end system, giving mobile operators or distributors the opportunity to supply prepaid airtime, and prepaid mobile service, electronically through various sales channels – web, POS, ATM, kiosk, etc. Any electronic product or service may be distributed through the system by delivering a pin number or by activating the service through a direct connection with a vendor.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Billers Acquisition and Management
• Sign up, build and maintain Relationship with billers on ServPoint platform (Telcos, Universities, Housing, utilities....)
• Agent Network Management Management
1. Draw the distribution channel down to the retailers level to ensure availability everywhere through 3 different channels:
• Big Dealers/Trade Partners
• ServPoint merchant acquisition and management
• Corporate Dealers
2. VAS channels development with banks already partnering with the company to deploy more VAS on the existing POS network deployed by Globasure
3. Carry out Retail promotions for big retailers, small retailers and hawkers.
• Drive Retail Engagement
• Ensure high activity among retailers
• Ensure conventional retailers are selling VAS services
• Focus in High Value customer corridor
• Manage ServPoint Partners disbursement
• Ensure Retail Education on products and services is planned, scheduled and implemented
4. Monitor competition offers & provide feedback to Marketing team
5. Drive presence in Non Conventional Outlets (in corporate offices to allow employees to get airtime and other services inhouse).
6. Achievement of Area sales volume, value, cash profitably and debt management.
7. Organizing and Activation of the Businesses of the Trade Partners to achieve a required turnover and Profit.
8. Effective territory Coverage and market developments by designing of route plan for the Sales Team
9. Supervision, development and training of the Master Distributor to enhance their effectiveness.
10. Supervision of the Retail Managers to achieve our Retail Penetration, Availability, Visibility and effective sales promotions.
Desired Skills and Experience:
1. A minimum of a BS
2. At least five years experience managing distribution channels: experience in télécoms distribution will be a plus
3. Deep knowledge and understanding of the VAS ecosystem
4. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
5. Demonstrated leadership ability, team management, and interpersonal skills.
6. Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills, plus excellent organization skills
