PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) is currently recruiting for the UK's Department for International Development (DFID), and Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. The following positions are currently sought for:

Position: Research Associate
Ref: S05

This role provides effective support in generating and providing useful market information on the Nigerian financial sector.

Key Accountabilities:
•   Conducts desk reviews
•   Provides general research support on the client's surveys and scoping studies
•   Develops evaluation reports for all completed research projects
•   Prepares reports and policy briefs on specific assignments
•   Assists in the preparation of work plans and status reports for each research project
•   Provides support in collecting, collating and analysing the research data
•   Maintains a database of access in finance related research conducted locally and abroad.

Skills and Competencies:
•   The individual required for this role must have excellent analytical and problem solving skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as an energetic and proactive approach to work.
•   Experience in the use of statistical software SPSS, Stata, etc desirable.

Education and Experience:
•   Applicant should possess first degree in statistics, economics, international development, public policy or related field
•   Experience in statistical modelling and analysis
•   Minimum of 2 years work experience
