The Federal Government is to recruit 500 youths in the skills Acquisition Centre in Otuoke, Bayelsa, in the next few months.

The Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Mr Godsday Orubebe, said this on Friday when he met with Niger Delta Youth for Physical Development (NDYPD) and National Association of Niger Delta Women in Uyo.

The minister said: "we will be recruiting 500 youths from across the nine states of the Niger Delta.

"They will be assembling ipad and telephones and we have also sorted out automatic employment for the youth that are coming in.
.
"They will be trained in the centre there. After the training they will be employed automatically.''
Good one for the federal government. Jobs are all we need now in this country for us to know we're taking the right step!
