The President, Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, has urged the Federal Government and Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, to shift ground to resolve the ongoing industrial action embarked upon by the union. This came as lecturers at Enugu State University of Science and Technology, ESUT, reaffirmed their support for the ongoing nationwide indefinite strike.
.
Oritsejafor, who spoke yesterday in Abuja at the celebration to mark the country's 53rd independence anniversary, said to resolve the strike that would be 90 days old today would not be a 'win-win' situation, adding that the two parties must give and take, in the interest of Nigerian students.
.
"Government must shift ground and ASUU also must shift ground. If they will allow us, we can resolve it,we are prepared to provide solution, if they will allow us, it is possible," he said.
