Job Title: Volunteer – Designing Promotional Materials (Christmas Card and Calendar)

TASK:
W.TEC would like to design:
1.) A 2014 calendar for our beneficiaries and stakeholders
2.) A Christmas card for our stakeholders
We would like to give these out at the end of the year. We would like to use photos taken during the year at our various programmes.
We expect that anyone who would like to work on this project: – Can devote some hours each week (5 at a minimum) to working on the card and calendar designs – Is proficient in graphic design – Can commit to having initial designs ready by 18th of October and the final design ready by the 25th of October – Can edit and touch-up our photos as required – Is willing to work with our team and make revisions as required to the designs
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
W.TEC typically highlights our work online via our website, blog, Facebook page, Flickr album and Twitter account. These are effective channels for reaching a certain demographic, however there are many groups that would be better reached through alternative means.
Therefore, this year, W.TEC will showcase our programmes and activities to the wider public and potential partners through the use of Christmas cards and a 2014 calendar, which will be given out at the end of this year.
OBJECTIVE:
We would like to give these out at the end of the year. We would like to use photos taken during the year at our various programmes.
These cards and calendar will be an important way to showcase the activities of the organisation to the community and stakeholders.
