Job Title: Accounts Payable Lead

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• The efficient and effective running of the Accounts Payable department
• Manage the Accounts Payable team
• Monitoring the quality of the work done by the Accounts Payable team
• Liaise closely with suppliers about payment terms, invoicing process and account management matters
• Analyse current team's performance and identify improvement areas
• Filter out any problems related to Accounts Payable and report performance and issues encountered
• Liaise closely with the Reporting and Costing teams to ensure that the right level of information flows from one department to another
• Ensure that the right management procedures are implemented and used on a regular basis
• Work with internal and external auditors by supplying information data and manage feedback from audit finance
• Reports to the Head of Shared Services
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• CA (SA) or ACMA
• Ability to work under pressure
• Strategic thinking
• Strong communication skills
• Leadership and coaching skills
• Business analytical skills
• Strong Finance business background
• Proficient with Microsoft Word , Excel
• 3-5 years in an FMCG environment
• Familiarity with GAAP/IFRS
