Head coach of the Nigeria national team, Stephen Keshi has predicted a torrid time for his wards ahead of Sunday's 2014 Fifa World Cup playoff against Ethiopia.

The African champions face Ethiopia in the first leg of a two-legged double header at the Ydnekachew Tesema Stadium, Addis Ababa on Sunday and Keshi is asking his players to "expect the worst."

"I have told my boys to expect the worst in Addis Ababa because the Ethiopians will do all they can to destabilise us," Keshi exclusively told said on Tuesday.

The "Big Boss' as Keshi is fondly called said only "big characters" will be selected to play on Sunday.

"This will be a serious test for us because it is the final hurdle. Only big characters will be selected to play and concentration and focus must be high.

"Right from the dressing room, the Ethiopians will try to provoke the players and try to make them go crazy.

"Things will not be much different on the pitch because the Ethiopian supporters will try to get our players mad and make them lose their cool.
