Nigerian students are among the best in the world despite the enormous challenges afflicting the country's educational sector, a foreign educational consultant, Mr. Guy Doughty, has said.
Doughty, Director for Africa, Preparation for Life Education, a career development consultancy firm, said this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria in Lagos on Wednesday.
He said Nigerian students had over the years displayed exceptional learning abilities in universities abroad, especially in engineering, computer and natural sciences.
"In the last 10 years, I have been an academic specialising in international education.
"In the universities where I worked and in the college sector, Nigerian students have consistently been among our best performers," he said.
