Nigeria assistant coach Daniel Amokachi is pleased with the assortment of striking options available to Nigeria, but says their ability to score is a function of the team ethos.

"I think that's an asset to Nigeria football. We have a lot of quality in the attacking positions with the likes of Ameobi, Emenike, Moses, Musa, and the young Uche Nwofor," Amokachi, a former striker told KickOffNigeria.com.

"These are players that can make a difference.

"But it's all about the collective effort from the team. If the team plays well the strikers will get more passes, and that means they will get more chances to score."

Amokachi has been working with the forwards during training and says he expects goals to follow
Our current strickers are good no doubt but we still expect them to improve with time cos they can be better!
