Super Eagles defender Elderson Echiejile has labeled the Ethiopians as bad losers after the African champions were attacked by irate fans following the remarkable 2-1 win against them in Addis Abba.

Echiejile who was impressive in the Eagles' 2-1 win where Fenerbache striker Emmanuel Emenike's brace sealed the win after Behailu Asefa cross from the left was adjudged to be a goal.

"They are bad losers and I think that should not be condoned at all," he stated.

Meanwhile, The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) will lodge an official complaint to World Football governing body, FIFA over what it says was the ill treatment meted to the Super Eagles during the team's two-day stay in Ethiopia.

"Matters came to a head on match day, when all manner of soft drink bottles were hauled at Nigerian players and supporters when the Ethiopians thought that they had scored an opener in the first half," the release further read.

The NFF will also highlight the incidents they claimed occurred after the game when Ethiopian fans were said to have "laid ambush and started stoning the (Nigerian) team's bus".

"One of the heavy stones shattered the rear windscreen of the bus, sending all inside the bus scampering for safety.

"With all taking cover, Real Betis star, Nosa Igiebor was the unlucky one as the stone slashed his right palm leading to profuse bleeding that was immediately attended to by team doctor, Ibrahim Gyaran," the release read.
Nigerians have always been accused of being bad losers but I don't think we do all this things that others do when they lose. Too bad from the Ethiopian Fans
Necessary actions must be taken to stop this from happening next time. The bodies in charge should handle this
