Libya based Super Eagles defender Chibuzor Okonkwo has described the senior national team's victory over the Walya Ibex of Ethiopia as a good step towards featuring at the 2014 FIFA World Cup, saying the second leg billed to hold in Calabar will not be a difficult match for the team.
.
The former Heartland FC of Owerri who recently joined the foreign legion said the Super Eagles have shown that they are the best in Africa.
.
"I am happy to see that Nigeria won the match because we were panicking before the match that the weather was not going to favour the players couple with other antics but at the end, we won which is a big advantage to us", says the Nigeria international.
.
"I am sure that we are not going to have any problem in the return leg in Nigeria but we need to work harder and show more determination that we want to win the match, at this stage, I can say we need the World Cup ticket more than them. But whatever happens, I don't see them beating us in Calabar.
I also do not see Ethiopia beating us in Calabar. I feel they might even be thrashed there cos Nigeria is obviously better!
