(http://www.nigeria.gov.ng/images/coat%20of%20arms3.jpg)The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has revealed the commencement of the inauguration of more than 1,400 completed projects in the Niger Delta Region. The Head of Corporate Affairs in the Commission, Iditoye Abosede revealed this on behalf of the Acting Managing Director of NDDC, Christo Atako in a statement in Port Harcourt; saying 26 projects have been inaugurated and 37 of them have been inspected in one month. "The projects commissioned are eight in Rivers, six in Cross River, six in Ed and three in Ondo State. We are not done yet. We have over 1,400 projects to be commissioned. So, the whole of next week has been marked out to commission quite a number of these projects," she said. Christo Atako called on contractors to be efficient and productive in delivering their services to the people; adding that some on-going projects have been inspected to ensure that contractors deliver quality projects to the people.
