The Commissioner for Information and Strategy in Abia State, Eze Chikamnayo has stressed the need for peaceful co-existence, religious tolerance, love and unity as Muslim faithful in the state join their counterparts all over the world to celebrate the 2013 Eidel Kabir.
In a statement on the occasion of the Moslem festival of Eidel Kabir, Eze Chikamnayo called on Muslims in the state to remain resolute in their support to the Governor Theodore Orji- led administration, noting that it continue to turn around the economic fortunes of the state through sound and people- oriented policies.
He disclosed that the State Government has provided the right platform for all residents of the state, irrespective of religious and ethnic backgrounds to actualize their legitimate goals, having invested massively on the security system.
Eze Chikamnayo noted that the Government has recorded landmark achievements in all sectors of the State economy as well as laid solid infrastructural base for the development of the State to guarantee the prosperity and well-being of all residents.
The Information Commissioner recounted that the Governor has in the last few months received several national and international awards for outstanding performance as a result of the vast renowned projects in major sectors of the state's economy.
