Job Title: Senior Business Development Manager

Location: Nigeria

Job description:

•   Signal Alliance has office and operation in Lagos and Abuja, Nigeria. We are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager with extensive experience in IT sales and business development.

•   The candidate will be responsible for the development and performance of all business development and sales activities in the business unit.

•   Ideal candidate must show proof of extensive experince in the IT industry and deep knowledge of the complex business development cycle for large IT deals.

Responsibilities:

•   Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.

•   Responsible for the performance and development of direct reports

•   Prepares action plans by individuals as well as by team for effective search of sales leads and prospects.

•   Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets.

•   Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed. .

•   Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding performance.

•   Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.

•   Maintains accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports submitted by Account Executives.

•   Creates and conducts proposal presentations and RFP responses.

•   Assists Account Executives in preparation of proposals and presentations.

•   Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines.

•   Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.

Desired Skills and Experience:

•   7—10 years of experience in presales, business development and sales management most of which must be in the IT industry

•   Experience with enterprise IT solutions and large, complex public sector organizations.

•   Extensive experience in all aspects of Supplier Relationship Management.

•   Strong understanding of public sector customer and market dynamics and requirements.

•   Proven leadership and ability to drive sales teams.

•   Must have a background in the IT industry
