The Turkish League is fast becoming an option for Nigerian players to ply their trade.Out of favor Nigeria striker, Yakubu Ayegbeni, is weighing up a move to Turkey, with Fenerbahce and Karabuksor believed to be likely destinations for the striker.
The28-year-old is currently on loan to Leicester City from Everton. Although the deal is with the option of a permanent signing, the Foxes' failure to secure promotion to the Premier League has left the striker looking elsewhere for top-flight football.
Yakubu has fallen out of favour at Everton, and it is widely understood that both player and club is keen to sever its £11.5-million relationship.
