The Ogun State Government has announced the appointment of a new Chief of Staff to Governor Ibikunle Amosun. He is Prof. Ganiyu Olatunji Olatunde.
The new Chief of Staff, a Professor of Entomology was at various times the acting Vice-Chancellor and Deputy Vice-chancellor of the Osun State University, Osogbo.
In a Statement in Abeokuta today, Secretary to the State Government, Barrister Taiwo Adeoluwa indicated that he would be sworn-in tomorrow at the Executive Council Chambers of the Governor’s Office at 9 a.m.
The new Chief of Staff has a PhD and M.Sc. in Agriculture and Agricultural Biology from the University of Ibadan. He also holds a B.Sc. in Zoology from the University of Lagos.
The 57 year old Prof. Olatunde has spent over 24 years in the academics and has over 40 publications to his credit. He hails from Ikenne Local Government Area of the State.
