The School of Biological Sciences, University of Aberdeen, UK has a scholarship of up to £1000 for students who are studying one of the Department's named degree programmes (undergraduate or postgraduate).
The Scholarship will be awarded to the student who can demonstrate promise in the field of Animal Production for the Food Industry or Rural Land-use and the Environment. The purpose of the award is either to attract high-quality students to the School or to enhance the breadth and experience of existing students. Applications will normally be for conference attendance or project-based work and provide funding for travel, subsistence, research materials etc., but any appropriate use will be considered.
Each recipient must submit to the Head of the School a report on the studies undertaken with the help of a grant within six months of their completion and acknowledge the grant in any relevant work which is published.

Please return this form to Room G32 Secretariat, Zoology Building, School of Biological Sciences, University of Aberdeen, by the beginning of February at the latest. Awards will be announced towards the end of February.
