Purpose of the Job and and Key Accountabilities:
• Liaise with all relevant parties in order to develop an overall Nigeria Content Development Plan and drive the enforcement of this Plan in line with the Nigerian Content Development Bill, 2010 and any other Local Content laws or guidelines
• Coordinate with NCD Monitoring Board, NAPIMS, DPR, NCD, Nipex and any relevant Government body, IOC or NOC.
• Ensure compliance with Company's policy and Government legislations.
• Prepare local content development plans for all significant tenders
• Assist with the workforce planning process to ensure attainment of NCD plans and assist with effective succession planning for those positions occupied by applicable expatriates to become Nigerianised in line with the NCD directive
• Maintain proper records, monitor and report on progress against NCD Plans and ensure any statutory reporting is completed in a timely manner.
• Ensure confidentiality of all personnel information.
• Maintain an up to date knowledge and awareness of applicable legislation and standards ensuring the Company delivers as required by law.
• Maintain contact with key Accounts
• liaise betweeen the Comapny and Clients as well as being the focal point for all NOC and Governmental body.
Requirements:
• The successful candidate would be expected to possses excellent communication skills, good interpersonal relationship skills, tenacious and and ability to work unsupervised and within tight dealines.
• Must be willing to travel.
• A minimum of an HND, First Degree or applicable professional qualification with oil industry experience of at least two years in a similar position is required.
