The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is soon to suffer another major casualty, as leaders of the new Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) met Friday in Yola, Adamawa state capital as part of efforts by the two groups to merge ahead of the 2015 general elections.

The APC chieftains including former governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and ex-head of state, Maj. Gen Muhammadu Buhari (rtd), Bisi Akande ,said they were in the state to hold consultations with Nyako and his teeming supporters on the way forward.

A parley held at the banquet hall of the Government House, Yola, former Head of State Maj. Gen Muhammadu Buhari (rtd), Bisi Akande including former governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu said that they were on a recruitment mission to the state, adding that the mission to the state was to salvage the country from its present state of decay and ma-adminsitartion owning to infrastructural and social decay.

'' I can assure you that in APC, internal democracy will be enshrined. Please let not make mistake. The time has ripe for change.
