Ethiopia's preparations ahead of the Nigeria game were hit with major blow after the Burkina Faso Football Federation cancelled the friendly scheduled for November 5. The news just comes a day after both federations agreed on the match.

Putting that behind, the Ethiopian Football Federation had also sort to play against Cameroon on November 12 but the friendly also failed to materialise, despite the EFF didn't mention any specific reason on the cancellation of the match.

This means Ethiopia may not have the chance to fix any other international friendly before the crucial game against the Super Eagles in Calabar.
