On Sunday, October 20, supersport.com exclusively reported that head coach of the Nigeria national team, Stephen Keshi had not been paid a salary for the past seven months.

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) swiftly responded and Keshi was paid.

The gaffer has however revealed that he was paid just a fraction of his entitlements and is still owed for five months' work by the NFF.

Speaking exclusively to supersport.com, Keshi acknowledged that he received N10 million (about $61 000 USD) from the NFF, which represents his salary for two months.

"Yes, I have been paid for two months. I thank the NFF for that but I will be glad if the remainder is paid because a worker deserves his wages," Keshi said to supersport.com.

Keshi recently called up 25 players to camp ahead of Nigeria's World Cup playoff against Ethiopia and he took the time to look ahead to the game, which comes up at the UJ Esuene Stadium, Calabar on November 16.

"I don't know what the Ethiopians are planning. I just know that we are playing in our own ground (Calabar).

"The weather will be okay and will be different from what we encountered during the first leg in Addis Ababa. There will be a lot of difference in the game and we will see how it goes.

"I am sure the Ethiopians are ready to come out and play so we have to be ready for that. We must play our normal game and win by the grace of God," he said.
