Former Nigeria captain, Sunday Oliseh, has said he is impressed with the performance of his nation's squad at the ongoing Fifa Under-17 World Cup in the UAE.
.
Oliseh, a member of the Fifa Technical Study Group at the tournament analysing the performances of the teams, believes the Nigeria under-17s are "very disciplined" and bring a whole new fresh perspective to the game.
.
The 39-year-old Nigeria is particularly impressed with how Manu Garba's boys switch play from defence to attack.
.
"I've been very impressed with Nigeria. The boys are extremely motivated but above all they're very disciplined, which is very refreshing to see. They have a lot of good individual players.
.
"The way the side switches from defence to attack is very good, frequently with one-touch passes. That's difficult to do as it requires a lot of movement, foresight and for all the players to support each other," Oliseh was quoted as saying by Fifa.com.
.
The former Ajax Amsterdam and Juventus man also took time to analyse Sweden, who will face Nigeria in Tuesday's second semifinal at the Under-17 World Cup in Dubai.
.
Oliseh described the Swedes as "the biggest challengers" and "unbelievably strong tactically."
.
The former Nigerian midfielder did not stop there as he singled out the Swedish trio of Elias Andersson, Valmir Berisha and Gustav Engvall as top talents at the Under-17 World Cup.
The boys played wonderful football today and it was a fantastic win that send them to the final
