Ethiopia are set to clash with Iraq in an international friendly to be played in Jordan on Friday.
.
The Ethiopian football Federation(EFF) confirmed the new development after missing out on friendlies with Cameroon and Burkina Faso.
.
EFF President Junedin Bashah intimated the new development saying "we are happy to have secured the Iraq friendly which will go a long way in preparing our team ahead of the important Nigeria clash."
.
"We might have missed on some top friendlies but Iraq are a very strong side that cannot be underrated," Junedin said.
.
Ethiopia will travel to Jordan on Wednesday before coming back to Addis Ababa on Sunday just days before their travel to Nigeria for the penultimate return match against the Super Eagles.
.
Ethiopia lost 1-2 to the visitors in the first leg and need to win by a two goal margin to be guaranteed a place in the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
I think Ethiopia should just forget it because I honestly think it's game over for them already. They should try harder in four years time!
