Chelsea are set to come back with an improved transfer offer for Luka Modric, which will include Michael Essien in part-exchange, despite Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy saying the wantaway midfielder is 'not for sale at any price.
Luka Modric who is demanding to leave Spurs, said he wants to depart the north London club 'as friends'.
'I have enjoyed my time there, but now it is right for me to look at another club".
'I have an arrangement with the chairman. When I signed my new contract, he said that, if another club came to sign me, they would consider the offer.'
