Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi has told Complete Sports that the non- payment of his salary will not distract his focus from the crucial November 16 FIFA World Cup qualifier against the Walya Ibex of Ethiopia billed to hold at the UJ Esuene Stadium in Calabar.

The former Togo national team manager who is on the verge of qualifying Nigeria for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, Complete Sports can report is being owed backlog of salaries by his employer, Nigeria Football Federation, NFF.

"I don't think the issue of salary will distract my focus from the World Cup match we are playing on November 16 in Calabar, we are already preparing for it and we remain focused.

We already know the players that will play the match and they are all preparing for it, so we are on the track", says the soccer tactician.

"The issue has been discussed with the FA and I am sure that they are working on it. But when you talk about the World Cup qualifier in Calabar, I will tell you that we are not losing focus at all," Keshi added.

It would be recalled that the Super Eagles won the first leg match in Addis Ababa 2-1 and will be looking forward to winning the second leg in Calabar to complete the job.

"That is the first hurdle which we have crossed and with the support of every Nigerian, I am sure that we are going to win the first leg. The players are looking forward to it and soon they will all be in camp to prepare for the match.

Keshi has called up 25 players for the crucial home game which include both home based players and foreign based players.
I hope preparations will start taking place soon so we see any dissappoionting play from the Super Eagles. We don't want that at all
