Former Super Eagles handler Christian Chukwu has warned the Golden Eaglets not to underrate Mexico in tomorrow's FIFA U-17 World Cup final.

Speaking with Complete Sports, the 1980 Africa Cup of Nations winning captain said the game will be different from their group clash.

"I think the boys have done well getting to the final.

It is a very good one for them, they must be commended but I will advice them not to get carried away because of the encounter which finished 6-1 in their favour.

"They must not underrate the Mexicans because the final will be different from the first round game. And also, they must play to the coaches instructions."

The ex-Rangers gaffer urged Nigeria football fans to pray for the team.

"So far, the team has done well and I will want every football fans in the country to put them in their prayers to emerge victorious in the final because with what these boys have displayed in this tournament, I believe they have a bright future," he said.
