President Goodluck Jonathan yesterday evening met with four governors –Godswill Akpabio (Akwa Ibom), Emmanuel Uduaghan (Delta), Olusegun Mimiko (Ondo) and Seriake Dickson (Bayelsa) behind closed-door at the Presidential Villa.
The meeting took some hours after which the governors came out but were not inclined to disclose details of the meeting to State House Correspondents.
But when journalists pressed further, Mimiko, who was in company of Uduaghan said it was an informal meeting.
"From time to time, issues come up that we have to discuss with him (the President)," the Ondo governor said.
When asked about the issues discussed, Mimiko simply said: "Issue bothering on governance."
Dickson and Akpabio who left the Presidential Villa at different times also declined to speak on details of the meeting.
