The national U-23 team beat Tanzania 3-0 at the Sam Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City 3-0 on Sunday to reach the final qualifying round for the 2012 London Olympic Games.
Nigeria, which qualified 3-1 on aggregate after they lost 1-0 in the first leg match in Tanzania a fortnight ago, will play in the eight-nation mini-tournament to determine which three countries will represent Africa at the Olympic Games, while the fourth-placed team emerge from a playoff against an Asian team.
