Developers on CRUTECH Land Given 14 Days to Submit Title Document or Risk Sanctions
The Ministry of Lands and Housing has given all Land owners and developers on Cross River University of Technology (CRUTECH) Land in Calabar South Local Government Area (LGA) 14 days to submit title document to the parcels of Land owned by them or risk sanctions.
They were also requested to submit approved building plans of their premises and any other document relevant to Land acquired by them.These directives were contained in a release signed by the Commissioner for Lands and Housing, Surv. Ralph Uche, who stated that the Department of Town Planning is in the process of verifying all developments of written portions of Land occupied and owned by Cross River University of Technology, Calabar.
He maintained that verifying development in CRUTECH Land is with a view to achieving proper documentation and ascertaining an un-approved building.
The release requested members of the public particularly all those who have developed portions of Land within CRUTECH Land in Calabar South to submit title instruments and documents of their plots to the director of Town Planning, survey and Town Planning premises, Ministry of Lands and Housing, Calabar within (14) days.
It urged those concerned to treat the information as very important as non-compliance may attract sanctions in pursuant to the provisions of the Building Bye-Law of Cross River State of 1984 and as amended 1987.
Then they should try as much as possible to meet up with the deadline to prevent complains later
