The newly-elected President of Nigerian Golf Federation (NGF), Dr, Peter Deshi, has promised to demystify the illusion and misconception that the game is meant for rich alone, saying it is for everybody.
"We intend to take golf to grassroots, secondary school, as well as local community," Deshi said.
"Nigeria has two comparative advantages compared to sport and tourism. So, if we develop our golf very well, we will use it to attract tourism.
"It will only take Nigerians to make this idea a reality."
