Title: Cross River State - SA Projects, Programmes Monitoring And Evaluation, Calls for Team Work Among Stakeholders

The Special Adviser on Projects, Programmes Monitoring and Evaluation, Mr. Eja-Dons Esege, has called on project staff and other stakeholders to embrace a team-work spirit with set-goals and transparency to boost effective monitoring and delivery of quality projects in the State.

Mr. Esege who made the call recently in his office before embarking on another round of projects monitoring and evaluation, with Project staff and the Department's Board Members, across the State said that it is very necessary to draw the attention of stakeholders at all times to avoid mistakes, as the department is poised at settling for nothing less than quality projects delivery.

 

He recalled that at the last stakeholders' forum organized by the Department with the theme, "our values and morals in contemporary projects management: The Cross River Experience", the State Governor, Senator LiyelImoke had reiterated the fact that the Department was established to enthrone good governance in the State, and as such, it behoves on stakeholders to synergies efforts to achieved desired results.

The Special Adviser said that the Governor further charged Heads of Ministries, Departments and Agencies, to ensure effective monitoring and delivery of quality projects by harmonizing their work-plans and following the Department's specifications.

"We have all together turned the corner to a bright and hopeful future, under the distinguished leadership of our amiable, quiet and untiring high achiever, Sen. LiyelImoke, so all hands must be on deck in this vanguard to make Cross River State remain the choice destination for investors and a home for everyone", he concluded.
