Title: Cross River State - Gov Imoke Calls for Complaince With Civil Servants’ Day Lessons

Civil and Public Servants in the Cross River State Service have been charged to put into practice the advice from the State Governor, Senator Liyel Imoke and the various papers presented at the recently concluded Civil Service Day Celebration in Calabar.

The Head, Business Development, One Credit, a Welfare Scheme of the Civil Service, Pastor Ashue Mathias gave the charge while speaking to newsmen at the Office of the Head of Service in Calabar.

Pastor Ashue said that the content of the Governor's speech was loaded with Service related matters which if put into practice, could enhance the speedy articulation of service delivery by the workforce.

He also lauded the various papers presented on the occasion and advised all and sundry, to always make good use of the contents for enhancement of the service procedure.

On the attendance, Pastor Ashue described the celebration as unique as it drew participants from among the Governor and his Deputy as well as Executive Council Members, Service Chiefs, Heads of Federal Establishments and other personalities from all walks of life.

He attributed the success story of the celebration to the excellent rapour existing between the Head of Service and these institutions and called for the sustenance of that spirit in the years ahead.

Pastor Ashue commended the Governor for his promise of a car as star prize in the next edition and pointed out that this would ginger the workers into being more productive in the course of discharging their duties.

He, however, assured that One Credit would continue to live up to expectations of Civil/Public Servants by responding promptly to their financial need.

In another development, the Business Development One Credit, Pastor Ashue Mathias, has congratulated the State Governor, Senator Liyel Imoke as he marked his 52nd birthday Anniversary.

In his message, Pastor Ashue thanked God for the life of the Governor and all he had done to move the State forward in the socio-economic and political arena and prayed for his continued wisdom to steer the ship of the State to its divine destination.

He assured the Governor of the support and co-operation of his organization, especially in contributing towards the welfare scheme of the Service.
