TWO robbery suspects have been arrested by policemen in OndoState during a shoot-out while robbing a quarry company.

I gathered that one Bello Kamorudeen who is a night guard in the company in Ore area of the state tipped off the police of the robbery incident.

Kamorudeem, according to police sources, informed the police at the Ore Divisional Police office that three hoodlums were raiding the company.

Consequently, the police raced to the scene and a shoot-out ensued between them and the hoodlums.

The exchange of gunfire lasted about 20 minutes following which one of the robbers, Babayaran Musa, was shot in the leg while two others escaped.

One of the fleeing suspects, Saadu Ibrahim, was later arrested by the police during the search of the area.

The third robber reportedly escaped while effort is still on to arrest him.

Contacted police image maker, Wole Ogodo, confirmed the arrest of two of the robbers after a gun battle.
Robbery suspects will always be rampant in those places so the security must be at alert.
