Job Title: Logistics and Facility Supervisor

Job description:
• Maintain a good working environment with particular reference to company asset.
• Assess the current condition of electrical, air conditioning, plumbing and other essential facilities and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of the condition of the equipment and other systems in the building.
• Create a schedule of regular evaluation/maintenance of the office facilities.
• Participate in the development of policies and procedures that affect the use of supplies and facilities.
• Ensure that all the equipment and other facilities are working properly.
• Create monitoring systems or programs in the institution to detect problems as early as possible.
• Initiate interventions to solve problems in the facilities.
• Develop a system for cleaning, repairs and maintaining the office facilities.
• Develop back-up or alternative systems for common problems such as power shortage, pumping machine down tool.etc.
• Ensure the safety of the building or establishment from fire, flood and other hazards.
Desired Skills and Experience:
• Competency in Microsoft Office applications especially Word, PowerPoint, Explorer and Excel.
• Ability and confidence to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Pro-active, ability to work under pressure and possess initiative without direction.
• Minimum HND in any relevant field (Preferably in Business Administration).
• Minimum of four (4) years post graduate experience in a related position.
