Ekiti State Government has vowed to use all legal means to recover the state funds allegedly embezzled during the tenure of former Governor Segun Oni.
The Commissioner for Information, Mrs. Fola Richie-Adewusi, disclosed this on Tuesday during a Stewardship/Accountability Forum.
The commissioner read a communiqué at the end of the forum.
The communiqué read, "Many of the roads awarded by the Segun Oni administration were abandoned after billions of naira had been paid to the contractors. All those involved in this road scam shall be questioned and Ekiti money shall be recovered from them."
That will be nice if said and done because it easier said than done. I hope politics will not come in-between.
