Ex- international, Dimeji Lawal has acknowledged the effort of Stephen Keshi's dream to return Nigerian football to the top in the last one year, but wants the former Mali national team manager to look beyond the present crop of players he has in his team as he prepares ahead of the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil next year.

Lawal advised Keshi to spread his tentacles out in search of more quality players that can don the colors of the country to a significant degree at the next year's World Cup.

"Apart from the players presently in the national team, I believe we can still have some quality players out there that we have not even tested before in any our games, but no doubt are good to argument the ones that we have already at our disposal".

"The presence of quality players in our squad will guarantee our chance to qualifying from the group stage."

"By having quality players in the Super Eagles, as well as consistency of the team and with a bit of luck, I am sure that the team will do well at the World Cup in Brazil.

He however warned the Super Eagles not to underrate any of their Group F rivals.

"One key thing we must give cognizance to is that all the teams that qualified for the World Cup are potential winners," Dimeji said.

"So we don't have to start looking down on a country and feel that they are not threats to us, we should remember every team emerged from an array of qualifying games, so no team in Brazil would be a cheap party."

The Nigeria Super Eagles are scheduled to begin their World Cup training on May 25, as the Coach Stephen Keshi has notify that the team will be camped in the United States of America.
I want to agree with Mr Lawal here. We have good players no doubt but we can still have more that i'm sure of.
If that is the case then he is free to scout for more players. The world cup is here already
