Ogun State has taken another dimension as the party in the state, yesterday, dragged the former Governor Gbenga Daniel before the state High Court, asking that he be stopped from parading himself as the leader/chairman of the party in the state.

The state Chairman of the party, Olabode Simeon and Secretary, Olaposi Sunday; state Financial Secretary, Abayomi Arabambi, and two others were the claimants, who sued the former governor and the state's Commissioner of Police, CP, Ikemefuna Okoye as first and second defendants, respectively.

In the motion on notice obtained by our correspondent, the party prayed the court to restrain Daniel from meddling with the affairs of the party in the state pending the determination of the substantive suit in the case which has been fixed for January 10, 2014.

The party also urged the court to compel the CP to implement the interlocutory injection barring the first defendant from meddling with the party affairs in the state.
