The Nigerian Army Headquarters yesterday announced a major posting of its senior officers, which saw Major General John Kwabe as the Chief of Logistics, Defence Headquarters; Major General Ugo Buzugbe, Commander Nigerian Army Armoured Corps; and Major General Ebiobowei Awala, as the Military Secretary (Army).

Others affected by the posting according to Director, Army Public Relations, Brigadier General Ibrahim Attahiru in a statement in Abuja, include Major General Olufemi Adeosun, who is now Director, Policy Defence Headquarters; Major General John Nwaoga, General Officer Commanding 3 Division; Major General Chris Olukolade, Director Defence Information; Major General Sunday Adebayo, Commander Nigerian Army Education Corps and Major General Mohammed Idris, Commandant Nigerian Defence Academy.

Also affected are Major General Mobolaji Koleoso, now Director, Armed Forces Simulation Centre; Major General Letam Wiwa, Director Military Intelligence; Major General Patrick Akem, Director Legal Service (Army); Major General Charley Okoro, Director Peace Keeping Operations Defence Headquarters; Major General Obidah Ethan, Chief of Civil Military Affairs; and Major General Junaid Bindawa, General Officer Commanding 7 Division.

Major General Modibbo Alkali is now Commandant, Nigerian Army School of Artillery; Major General Shehu Yusuf is Commandant Depot Nigerian Army; Major General Ahmed Mohammed, Commander Nigerian Army Training Centre and Major General Iliyasu Abbah is Commander, Joint Task Force (Operation Pulo Shield).
