JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for day to day operational activities at location. Handles client's/customers' requests, giving immediate solution to some technical complaints and liaises with own supervisors or third party contractors for solutions to others. Keeps records of individual plant maintenance activities and ensures the planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedule is carried out accordingly. Liaises between client/tenants and own employer
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• To ensure that base operational equipments/plants are in functional condition –electrical power supply (PHCN & standby generators), water supply and plumbing, air conditioning and ventilation, etc
• To follow up with third party contractors' activities ensuring use of good quality materials and good finishing.
• To keep and maintain basic operational documents at location – daily checklist, generator logbook, diesel consumption chart, etc; thus ensuring good equipment history is kept and maintained.
• To carry out minor technical repairs (from customers' complaints), example; bulbs/switch socket replacement, etc
• To supervise service providers for electrical, plumbing, air con and generator repairs, and any other building services works as may be requested by the client.
• Assists in preparing weekly/monthly operational report of base station.
• Responsible for stock control of consumable work materials supplied and determining minimum stock level of the individual stock items.
• To ensure that proper guidelines and procedures are followed in operational activities.
• Liaises between tenants/customers and own Head Office.
• To ensure that other non technical services (cleaning, gardening, etc) are carried out effectively by the vendors, reporting any lapses.
EDUCATION:
• Secondary School Certificate Examinations
• Trade test certified added advantage
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
• Proven track record in sales and marketing
• Business and strategy development experience
SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills
• Strong negotiation skills
• Aggressive selling posture
• Strong customer and relationship building and management skills
• Excellent writing skills – The confidence to communicate effectively and persuasively in writing.
• Excellent presentation skills
WORK EXPERIENCE: 2 – 5 years work experience
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
• Well organized and detail oriented.
• Good mathematical skills.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Cooperative and willing to assist others.
